| Back in Maun we were informed that the plane was delayed and would not arrive until after lunch. Most of the group started off for Moremi while Suzie and I stayed back with Stanley. Adam's wife, Brigitte, who hails from California (thereby hangs a tale) explained that we were expected at Hilary's for lunch and to remember thx box lunches for the Skip, Carol and Greg. Hilary's is is a small lunch room run by a German Expat who could easily pass for Californian - both as to looks and cuisine. Great food -- I had the savory Mexican pancake, wow! Though by the time we were finished we had no room for the deserts. |
