Maun International Airport, or MUB as it is affectionately known, is the gateway to safari and lodge access for the Okavango Delta and the Moremi Game Reserve. Our trip coincided with the start of winter school vacations in South Africa so there were a number of young people coming home or visiting friends. While most people come to Botswana to view and photograph game, hunting has a definite part in the country's wildlife/tourism management program.
