| Alex and Tammy went to Florence
today while the rest of us went to Castelli di Monsanto in the
Barbarino area. Our hostess was welcoming and informative and we
enjoyed tasting wine with her in the sun front of the castle. Monsanto
has long underground caves that were fun to walk through. They
have set aside bottles of wine for the birth year of family members
to be used for celebrations such as weddings. After this we all
went in different directions. Dinner was at the wonderful Osteria
di Passignano (the people who catered Kate's dinner) and we both
delicious and fun. |
